Sometimes, with no word of warning, the soul will sing and let you know exactly what it is you should be doing. I'm sitting here, older and wiser with the same old fire burning for music as I've always had. My soul sang, I heard the call and I think the time has come to reignite the flame of past and reunite myself with the joy of telling the stories and sharing the music with you that I think needs to be heard. 

You'll be pleased to hear that my ethos has stayed the same and I will be working with small, grassroots bands and giving them the stage and the space to sit and tell you their story, and I couldn't be more excited to create this space and get it living and breathing again. I will not be following the format of your normal music magazine. Once up and running there will be one feature a month, it's long form content, no rules, no time limits. Expect to hear the stories of the music and the people behind it, the possibilities are endless. 

In the meantime, while I get the first feature underway, please, feel free to read the word of old days past in the Rhythm of Red Archive. This is a different space, but I love the time capsule of what feels like a whole lifetime ago!
